The North Park Craft Mafia to host ‘Mother’s Day Edition, Sunday Crafty Sunday’ at Filter Coffee House in North Park
NORTH PARK/SAN DIEGO, CA April 14, 2009–The San Diego North Park Craft Mafia’s Mother’s Day Edition of Sunday Crafty Sunday, will take place on May 3, 2009 from 12pm to 5pm at Filter Coffee House, 4096 30th St, San Diego, CA 92104, 619-521-0533. Come support some wonderful local artists who will be displaying their crafty wares at the Sunday Crafty Sunday art show. This show is just in time for Mother's Day so why not honor dear old Mom with a handcrafted one-of-a-kind gift this year?! This craft show will be at the Filter Coffee House, so it is also a great place to just hang out with a hot cup of joe and hang out with the girls of the San Diego North Park Craft Mafia. Shoppers can browse through this unique market from local do-it-yourself vendors (DIYer) with hand-made offerings ranging from pet wares, hand screen printed designs, purses, clothing, unique jewelry and much more.
The Craft Mafia was founded in 2003 in Austin, Texas. Over the years, the Craft Mafia has spread its DIY ethic and ideals of professional support to cities worldwide, resulting in the founding of over 42 groups to date. North Park San Diego’s Craft Mafia was founded in September 2007 by independent business owners Teresa Salazar of Velvet Klaw, (www.velvetklaw.com) and Svea Komori-Ang of Belle Pepper Couture (www.bellepeppercouture.com).
